New Equipment Starts to Arrive

As the year long renovation of the South Charleston, West Virginia stamping facility starts to wind down and the start of production readiness nears, CSM is seeing the long lead-time equipment arrive. In the past few weeks, the Atlas Die Cart System has been installed on the # 4 (156") line and new Rockwell press controls are installed and programmed on 4 of the 6 lines. The new Ingersoll-Rand compressors are installed and just this last week, the CSM buy off team traveled to ABB's Brampton, Ontario facility to sign off on the build and performance of our 47 press tending robots that are to be delivered in the next week.
