CSM - Progressing Toward SOP; Lighting, Painting, Floor - Enhancements For A Showplace Facility
The new pictures show facility improvements that affect the environment inside the plant and enhance working conditions and safety.
Lighting
Nearly 1000 new ceiling lights (1000 watt Metal Halide) are being installed - the photographs show the
dramatic enhancement. Light intensity has increased from approximately 35-candle power to 95-160 in
different areas of the plant.
Paint
Nearly 22,000 gallons of paint will be used on the ceiling alone. In addition, all walls and columns
are being painted with thousands of additional gallons.
Floor
Large areas of the floor are being capped or replaced. This project is just beginning as can be seen
in the photograph. Over 5000 cubic yards of concrete will be poured.
