The cleanup begins at Charleston Stamping.

As the start up of the plant was being considered, clean up began. Here are a few pictures at an early stage. The major projects of disassembly of the old assembly weld lines, obsolete press equipment, renovation and repainting the entire plant is in progress. Tons of obsolete equipment and material has been scrapped.

This is just the start, timelines are in place and orders placed for new press automation, controls, robots, die change over equipment and a variety of other facility enhancements.
